Expedition Photos
Every Friday one-third of the school
is out of the building on an expedition. Students participate in expeditions
by grade level on a rotating basis.
Expeditions include a range of experiences
designed to connect the school
to the larger Tucson community,
relate classroom content to the 'real-world,
and provide 'team building' opportunities
to our students.
We are in regular contact with Parents/Guardians
to keep them informed
In addition, the school sends home permission slips
for any field expedition that is conducted outside the city limits
or is deemed to carry an elevated level of inherent risk
(such as swimming, rock climbing, etc).

please go to the Lisa Felix information page.
This year expeditions have included school-wide participation in National Geographic's 'Bio Blitz at
Saguaro National Park, as well as, grade level expeditions to Mount Lemmon, Saguaro National Park (east & west), Tumamoc Mountain,
Agua Caliente Park, Marana Heritage Farm, University of Arizona, the Superior and City Courts, Tucson Central Public Library,
