This year students will be participating in expeditions
by grade level on a rotating basis.
Expeditions occur on Fridays
and will cover a range of experiences
designed to connect the school
to the larger Tucson community,
relate classroom content to the "real-world",
and provide "team building" opportunities
for our students.

We will be in regular contact with Parents/Guardians
in order to keep them informed
as to which Fridays their student(s)
will be participating in Expeditions,
what they should bring in order to be prepared,
and to solicit help in transportation of students
to and from the various destinations.

In addition,
the school will be sending home permission slips
for any field expedition that is conducted
outside the city limits
or is deemed to carry an elevated level of inherent risk
(such as swimming, rock climbing, etc).
