Summer Library Opportunities

Last week we featured summer opportunities around the city. This week we would like to highly encourage you to think about taking advantage of some of the free workshops being put on by the public library. Their summer youth program, “create it” features the following classes at the Joel D. Valdez Main Library, Teen Room, 101 N. Stone.

Learn Python                                                 June 9-20 M-F 10-12

TV Studio Production                                   June 16-27 M-F 9-12

Video Production with Pan Left                   July 7-10 M-F 1-4

Stop Motion Animation                                Junly 14-16 M-F 1-3

Additionally, Tuesdays from 1-3 are Tech Craft days and Thursdays from 1-3 are Minecraft day! (no registration is required for these).  And, of course, as always, their summer reading program exists at all library where you can get prizes for reading.
