Next Friday, May 1st is a school holiday for both PFFS-Downtown and PFFS-University. It is the last holiday of the school year. Please make sure your young person comes to school every day during these last 20 days of school.
For many schools things begin to wind down after state testing is completed but at Paulo Freire Freedom School during these last days of the school year we continue creating powerful learning experiences for our young people that include public demonstrations of their work during the last week of school. So stay tuned for opportunities to come see your young people show what they know and are able to do.
Remember also that in the last week of school Wednesday 5/20 is a full day and Thursday 5/21 is an Early Release day (at 1:45pm) to accommodate the promotion ceremony Thursday evening (at 6:00pm). Friday 5/22 is the last day of school for both PFFS-University and PFFS-Downtown.
