On this past Monday, April 20th (at both schools) we celebrated Earth Day with a school holiday – although it was celebrated globally this past Wednesday, April 22nd. 
In conjunction with global Earth Day, last week there was also a Global Youth Service Day on April 17th-19th. At PFFS-University we decided to celebrate our own Youth Service Day today April 24th with each of our six Advisory groups participating in six different service projects around Tucson (Ariane’s Advisory – St. Lukes Home, Carman’s Advisory – Tucson Reptile Rescue, Chris’s Advisory – Ironwood Pig Sanctuary, Erika’s Advisory – Davis Bilingual Magnet School, 
Mallory’s Advisory – Therapeutic Ranch for Animals & Kids (TRAK), and Mariah’s Advisory – Roskruge Bilingual K-8).
