The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) is beginning a new art program this Fall called ‘Young Fauves’ – a series of 10 workshops throughout the Fall season for youth ages 9-13.
This free after school art program will give artists ages 9-13 the opportunity to experience a variety of art activities including collage, painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking and more! We will also learn about different styles and movements in art. Youth will be introduced to concepts like culture jamming and DIY practices such zine-making.
There will be 2 sessions this fall season and we will be accepting 10 youth into each session. Workshops run on Tuesdays from 3:30 – 5:00pm.
