Fall 2015 Intersession Options Announced

DSC_0007During ‘Morning Meeting’ today and yesterday (9/10-11) at both schools, Paulo Freire staff presented to students their Intersession options for the Fall 2015 Intersession (October 5-9).  These were also posted at each school’s Intersession web pages (see PFFS-Downtown & PFFS-University).  An Intersession ‘Choice Sheet’ was given to each student to take home and discuss with their parents/guardians.  Students are to rank the options 1, 2, 3…. with a #1 being their first choice, #2 their second choice, etc. and parents/guardians are to sign 2Lthe ranked Choice Sheet and return it to the school no later than this coming Tuesday (9/15).  We cannot guarantee that students who return signed Choice Sheets later than Tuesday (9/15) will be given one of their top choices.

Next Friday (9/18) the announcements of Intersession group assignments will be made during Morning Meeting at both schools and Intersession groups will then meet together.  Parent letters describing the particular Intersession and related fees, as well as, financial aid request forms, waiver/permission forms (where applicable), and/or other support materials will be given to students to take home at that time.  You will be able to track all of this at each school’s Fall 2015 Intersession webpages.  On Friday (9/18) links to the parent letters and other support 4IRSmaterials will be posted next to each Intersession ‘blurb’ on these pages.  Remember, the actual Fall 2015 Intersession week is not for another three weeks (October 5-9).

As mentioned last week, we have pulled off some amazing Intersession experiences at Paulo Freire through the years – 20 different Intersession weeks previously and hundreds of different Intersession experiences.5L  The Intersessions we have planned for Fall 2015 are also stellar.  The pictures you see in this post are from last year’s Fall Intersession experiences.
