ZUZI! Dance: 18th Annual Solstice Celebration

As many of you know, ZUZI! Dance has been a partner of Paulo Freire Freedom School since 2005.  JoAnn and Santo met ZUZI! co-founder Nanette Robinson prior to the the opening of PFFS-U and we knew from that first meeting that our missions were aligned.  Over the years ZUZI! has provided multiple elective options to PFFS-U students including African dance, musical theater, hooping, hip-hop dance, caporiera, yoga, marshal arts, and three levels of trapeze.

Tomorrow and again on Sunday and Monday, ZUZI! Dance will be presenting their 18th annual Solstice celebration – ‘The Light Keeper’s Box’.  A shout-out to PFFS-University student Raine Ugsted who is dancing with this year’s amazing ensemble of dancers – “You Rock Raine – Paulo Freire Presenté!”

These celebrations are always beautiful and inspiring!  Please plan to attend one of the performances:

Saturday, December 19th, 2:00 pm

Sunday, December 20th, 7:30 pm

Monday, December 21st, 7:30 pm
