With the beginning of the 2nd Semester, parents who want their young people to begin participating or continue participating in the ‘AfterSchool’ programs at PFFS-Downtown and PFFS-University – must sign-up and make fee arrangements. These ‘AfterSchool’ programs are provided on Mon, Tues, Thurs, and Fri throughout the school year. AfterSchool is a fee-based program (financial assistance is available) for PFFS-D and PFFS-U students who have been signed-up in by their parents. Please use the PFFS-D AfterSchool Form or the PFFS-U AfterSchool Form to sign-up your young person at their respective school.
We charge for AfterSchool by the day for a semester, at $25 per day of the week. For example, you can sign-up your young person for all the Mondays in the Semester for $25 total. If you want your young person to be in AfterSchool on all four days that it is offered (no AfterSchool on Wednesdays) you would pay $100 for the semester. These fees help us offset the cost of having a staff person manage AfterSchool and provide class/homework help.
Also a reminder that our AfterSchool program is primarily designed to provide a quiet space for students to do their homework and get adult assistance if need be. As such, it is our expectation that enrolled students will be following the guidelines around work activities and noise level. Students who consistently resist these rules, will not be allowed to continue in the program.
