CODE: Debugging the Gender Gap in Computer Science

On October 17th, CITY Center for Collaborative Learning is having their 3rd Annual Fall Film Screening and will be showing CODE: Debugging the Gender Gap. The film exposes and explores the lack of American female and minority software engineers. CODE highlights breakthrough efforts that are producing more diverse programmers and shows how this critical gap can be closed.

Audiences of all ages are welcome to attend. The event will be held at the Loft Cinema; it will being at 4:30pm with a robot demonstration, followed by the film screening at 6pm and a panel discussion with women computer scientists. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased online at
