You are invited to attend the Pennington Street Showcase tomorrow, April 4th, from 5-7 pm downtown at 37. E. Pennington. The theme for this showcase is STEM. Students from City High School and both Paulo Freire Freedom Schools will be presenting their learning, and projects will include World War 2 Periodic Tables, Climate Resilient Coastal Home Blueprints, SARSEF Science Fair Projects, digital stories, debates on genetic modifications, a climate change discussion panel, and much, much more.
The Pennington Street Showcase series is a part of the nationwide #shareyourlearning movement where students engage in authentic, meaningful project-based learning and showcase their understandings to a real-world audience. This is the second Pennington Street Showcase of the year. Come see all the amazing ways our students engage with twenty-first century issues using science, technology, engineering, and math.
