The next parent discussion group is this Thursday from 5:30 – 7:00 at PFFS-U. The topic of this event is “Having Meaningful and Honest Conversations With Your Middle School Student.”
Paulo Freire Freedom School will be hosting a series of family counseling and parent discussion groups this year. The events will be facilitated by CC White, a child and family therapist. CC works as a school counselor and has her own private practice. Her focus is on increasing positive communication and clear boundaries at home, school work, and in the community.
All Paulo Freire Freedom School families are invited. The cost of each evening is a $5 recommended donation. Pizza will be served. The event will be hosted by PFFSU, located at 300 E. University Blvd.
Dinner will be served at 5:30. The discussion group will meet from 6:00 – 7:00. Children will be invited to attend and participate when appropriate. We will set up a movie and have snacks in a separate room if you need to bring your kids along.
