This past semester The Historic Y, which houses Paulo Freire Freedom School-University, was identified as being a potential risk for poor water quality due to the identification of older water pipes in the neighborhood. Our eighth-grade graduation ceremonies are right around the corner. PFFS-U will have its graduation ceremony on May 23rd at 6:00 pm at Zuzi! Dance Company on 5th Avenue. PFFS-D will celebrate their graduates on May 24th at 6:00 pm at 127 S. 4th Ave.

Eighth graders will present their portfolio to a panel which includes their advisor, another staff member, a family member, and a sixth or seventh grade student.
