Another Intersession Success

We’ve concluded another amazing Intersession week at both Paulo Freire Freedom School campuses.  Students traveled to Mexico, learned about Japan, backpacked the Arizona Trail, rode bikes around Tucson, studied plants, studied architecture, explored cultural understandings of death, conducted forensics experiments, wrote stories and poems, hunted ghosts, tasted coffee and chocolate, and constructed costumes for people… Read more »

Cool After School Clubs

Maker Day Wednesday

This Wednesday, 9/14/16,  is our first ever Maker Day.  We are all very excited to explore a wide-range of equipment and tools ranging from a 3-D printer to a lathe. Maker Day! Wednesday, Sept. 14th

On Wednesday, Sept. 14th, we will have a STEM-intensive Maker Day for students at both PFFS campuses. Students from both campuses will work together with our staff and community experts to learn computer programming, power tools, sewing, 3-D printing, and more. The school day will end at the usual Wednesday time of 1:45.
