PFFS-Downtown Family Potluck

Mark your calendar for Thursday, September 7th 5:30-7:00 when we will gather for food and festivities.  In alignment with our 2020 strategic plan goal focusing on wellness, we are encouraging healthy (yet yummy) recipes.


Parents have a right to know details regarding teacher qualifications. Parents may request from our office managers to see information on the professional qualifications of their child’s teachers.  Allowable information includes: teacher certification status teacher educational background qualifications of paraprofessionals

New Staff at PFFS-D

At Paulo Freire Downtown we have two new staff members who already feel like family.  They are wonderful additions and we are so glad to have them! Scott Avenue Streetscape

Re Downtown Traffic: You might have already noticed that construction is underway on Scott Avenue just east of CHS/PFFS-Downtown.  Although it makes an already crowded street a little more challenging, the end results should be terrific.  Construction should be completed by October.  Your patience and care is appreciated.  To learn about the plan visit:
