Coming up in April – students at City High School, Paulo Freire Freedom School – Downtown​, and Paulo Freire Freedom School – University​ share their learning with the public. The ‘Pennington Street Showcase’ on April 13th at 37/47 E. Pennington St. from 4-7 pm is the #ShareYourLearning event of the year.

‘Placed-Based Learning’ Residency Workshop 3/13

This ‘Place-Based Learning’ Residency Workshop is an all-day immersion inquiry for educators interested in the innovative, place-based programming at our two Paulo Freire Freedom Schools (grades 6-8) and City High School (grades 9-12) in Tucson, Arizona and how they might create these kinds of ‘Place-Based’ learning opportunities in their own schools.

Edcamp Tucson VI

Registration for tomorrow’s ‘Edcamp Tucson VI’ closes at 6 pm today!  City Center for Collaborative Learning will convene its 6th edcamp in three years in downtown tomorrow (Feb.10) from 8:30 am – 12:30 pm.

Place Based Education – Jewish History Museum

Dream BIG – Film & Panel: Oct 24th

CITY Center for Collaborative Learning is bringing DREAM BIG back to Tucson for a free screening at The Loft Cinema on Tuesday, October 24th because the film is too important to miss.  DREAM BIG was designed to be both visually engaging and inspiring to young people.  It is a ‘must see’ for everyone in the family!
