UA Receives $50 Million To Establish Social Justice and Environment Program

Exhibition Open House – Space & Scale

There will be an Exhibition Open House for parents and families of PFFS-Downtown next Thursday morning, September 18th, from 9:30 to 11:00.  On display will be students’ scaled space models and explanatory brochures.  They will be available to explain their learning and answer questions. Feel free to drop in and check us out!

Fall Intersession – Announcements on Monday

On Monday, September 15th, PFFS-Downtown students will learn what Intersession they will be attending and will be given information about their week.  Look for parent letters that will be sent home and will be posted on the website.

Fall 2014 Intersession Update

PFFS D&U Expedition 8/29/14

At 10:00 am on Friday 8/29, students from both the University and Downtown locations of Paulo Freire Freedom School will be joining together with City High School students at the Armory Park Center to see and hear a presentation of the ‘Tucson Folksingers Remembrance Project 1955-1962’.  This project, sponsored by the Arizona Humanities Council, has attempted to document a fascinating chapter in local history… Read more »

3-Day Novel Event 8/30-9/1

This year PFFS students are invited to join City High students to participate in the national 3 Day Novel Writing Contest.  On August 30-September 1, students are invited to work from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at PFFS-D/City High School (47 E.
