Edcamp Tucson will bring together educators to share ideas, exchange resources and generate enthusiasm for the profession, all with the end goal to accelerate student growth. Edcamps are modeled after the ‘unconference’ approach to adult learning, and place high value on the expertise, curiosity, and interests of the professionals gathered. Sessions are organically generated by the participants. Many Edcamp discussions tend to center on the latest in education strategies, technology, and innovation.
CITY Center for Collaborative Learning is excited to be hosting the first Edcamp in the Tucson area. CITY Center for Collaborative Learning and the Edcamp Foundation are both committed to promoting participant-driven professional development for educators. The event is free and open to the public.
