PBL/CommunityShare Residency Workshop

March 7, 2017 @ 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

lic3

CITY Center for Collaborative Learning offers professional development experiences for educators and education advocates and leads three small secondary schools (our own PFFS-Downtown & PFFS-University and City High School) as demonstration sites for the innovative practices we promote.

Next week on Tuesday, March 7th CITY Center will host the  ‘PBL/ CommuntyShare Residency Workshop’  at our three demonstration schools.  This will be a day-long, PBL immersion experience for adult learners who want to understand deeply how teachers design and implement BIE ‘Gold Standard’ project-based units of instruction and how classroom/community partnerships (supported by CommunityShare) deepen that process.

The day will include guided observations of PBL classrooms, facilitated collegial discussion of these observations using School Reform Initiative protocols, presentation of ideas/instructional tips from a National Faculty member of the Buck Institute for Education (BIE), and conversations with members of the CommunityShare Educator Advisory Team.

Please tell your educator friends about this powerful immersion, learning experience and invite them to register.  There are still openings available.  Registration link >>
