PFFS-U seventh graders are
Madera Canyon-bound! This is a bit further afield than we usually go, but it gives us the chance to be outdoors and in cooler climes. While at Madera, we will focus on learning a bit about the
cultures and histories of those who have called the region home, in connection with the 6/7 Humanities Early Man unit. We will also learn a bit about the natural history and
ecosystems of the area, as students begin to explore the great biodiversity that makes this region spectacular. And, we will devote some time to team building activities and games as our young people get to know one another.
It is forecast to be in the 70s, so please make sure your student is dressed appropriately and brings along a couple of layers. Please also make sure your student is wearing comfortable walking shoes and brings a water bottle, lunch, and snacks.
We have a couple parents who have volunteered to drive but
am still in need of a few drivers. If you are able to help, please
email Ariane or call the school at 624-7552.
