Seth graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and a minor in Spanish. His love of the Sonoran Desert’s incredible ecology dovetails with his place-based and project-based teaching philosophies and helps him integrate curiosity and fun into his students’ learning. Seth’s experience with research and the application of hard science skills informs his teaching methods, helping young learners understand the bigger picture of why we learn what we do and how it can empower us to be active, impactful community members.
